MedSafetyWeek 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine, Batna 2: Together, Let's Break the Silence on Adverse Drug Reactions!

November 6, 2026

Only 5 to 10% of adverse drug reactions are reported worldwide. What about you—what are you waiting for to take action?

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Batna 2 is fully mobilizing for the 2026 edition of #MedSafetyWeek.

Join us this Sunday, November 8, 2026, for the closing day of an essential mission: sustainably embedding the culture of pharmacovigilance and the reporting habit among future healthcare professionals. Our goal is clear: demystify reporting, break taboos, and train healthcare providers who are resolutely committed to patient safety.

This global campaign is coordinated by the Uppsala Monitoring Centre (WHO Collaborating Centre), with the active participation of the Scientific Association of Medical Students - Le Souk Batna.

Throughout the day, come take part in our practical reporting simulation workshops, take on the challenge of our clinical Escape Game focused on drug interactions, test your knowledge at our associative village, and join us starting at 1:00 PM for our major panel discussion titled "Overcoming under-reporting".

To enrich the discussions, we will have the honor of welcoming an exceptional panel of experts:

* Prof. SELMANI M.R. and Prof. DJENFI T. (Pulmonologists)

* Prof. BRINIS N. (Pediatric surgeon)

* Prof. MANOURI O.K. (Infectious disease specialist)

* Dr. GUELLOUH H. (Pediatrician)

* Prof. BOUHIDEL J.O. (Clinical Pharmacologist, Pharmacovigilance expert)

"Side effects - don't ignore them, report them"

See you this Sunday, November 8, 2026, at the University of Batna 2 – Faculty of Medicine.
